This recipe has been a family staple for a long time and I believe it was passed down from an old church cookbook - so you know this has to be good!
Ingredients
2 pounds frozen cubed hash browns (somewhat thawed)
1/2 cup chopped white onion
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 cups sour cream
2 cups grated mild cheddar cheese
1/2 cup melted salted butter
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Topping: 2 cups crushed cornflakes with 1/4 cup melted salted butter
Instructions
Mix all of the ingredients except for the cornflakes in a big bowl until mixed thoroughly, place in a greased 9x13 inch dish.
Next, mix your cornflakes and melted butter in a dish then place the cornflakes on top of the potato mixture.
Bake on 325 degrees for an hour and dive in!
