Cottage Cheese Pizza Crust

Best crust and makes the best pizza!


Ingredients 

  • 1 cup + 1 tablespoon all purpose flour and more for rolling dough

  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 1 cup cottage cheese

Cooking instructions

  • Add your dough hook to your Kitchen Aid Mixer

  • Add ingredients and spin until dough forms - it shouldn’t be sticky.

  • Add dough to bowl with a little olive oil in bowl and put towel over bowl and let rest for 10 minutes or so.

  • Once done, use flour and roll out as needed to from crust.


Pizza Instructions for Breville Pizza Maker

  • Preheat your pizza oven (middle dial - not on thin, not on thick)

  • With this dough, I split it into two crusts (two pizzas).

  • I cut parchment paper to mirror the same size as the pizza stone then set it on a round wood board

  • Set your crust on the parchment paper then build your pizza.

  • I’ve made my own sauce before, or you can use Rao’s or another brand. Add mozzarella and your favorite pizza toppings!

  • Gently ease the pizza (with parchment paper) on the stone.

  • Cook for about 4 minutes or so and then you can pull the parchment out and then cook the pizza another 5-6 minutes. Watch closely until it’s ready so you don’t burn.

  • Move to cutting stone and enjoy!
