Fried Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 6 bone-in pork chops

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1 teaspoon Himalayan salt

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 teaspoon pepper

  • 1 teaspoon cayenne

  • 1 cup flour

  • 2-3 eggs

  • 1/2 - 1 cup vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  • Begin heating a cast iron pan with vegetable oil and heat to 375 degrees.

  • In a pie plate, combine the flour, garlic and onion powders, paprika, salt, pepper and cayenne and mix well.

  • In another pie plate beat the eggs.

  • Next, tenderize the meat and pound with a meat mallet.

  • Begin to dredge the pork chops - flour mix, egg then again the flour mix.

  • Place the pork chops in the pan and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side. The pork chops should at least have a 165 degrees internal temperature.
