Red Hot (Cinnamon) Apples

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water

  • Box of red hots

  • 1/4 cup or more of sugar

  • 5-6 cored and peeled red apples


Instructions

  • Begin to heat the red hots, water and sugar until dissolved.

  • Core and peel the apples. You can either slice or cut in rings.

  • Cook apples in syrup over medium heat until apples are soft. Turn off heat and let sit in syrup and serve.
