Ingredients
2 cups water
Box of red hots
1/4 cup or more of sugar
5-6 cored and peeled red apples
Instructions
Begin to heat the red hots, water and sugar until dissolved.
Core and peel the apples. You can either slice or cut in rings.
Cook apples in syrup over medium heat until apples are soft. Turn off heat and let sit in syrup and serve.
