Delicious and easy - who doesn’t love a shrimp boil?
Ingredients
4 ears fresh corn on the cob cut into halves
Smoked sausage cut into pieces (full package)
2 pounds unpeeled, deveined shrimp
Large white onion, cut in pieces
3-4 red potatoes cut in pieces
7 cups water
12 ounces beer
1 tablespoon salt
1/2 cup old bay seasoning
Instructions
In a large pot, boil the water, beer, salt and old bay.
Stir in the potatoes and onion - cook for about 6-8 minutes.
Then add the sausage, cook for 3-5 minutes.
Add corn and cook for another 6-8 minutes.
Add shrimp, stir well and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
Remove from heat, drain and serve.
You can also sprinkle some additional old bay seasoning on top of the mix and serve with clarified butter (Ghee) on the side.
